Emrys v The Atacama

Lubas Medical is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring one of our First Aid instructors Emrys Davies in his colossal challenge to cross the Atacama desert in 7 days!

The challenge begins in March 2013 where Emrys will begin the challenge to cross 250km of the world's most inhospitable desert. He will cross vast salt flats, sand dunes, loose rock and areas that have never even recorded rainfall. Add to that the ludicrous temperatures that range from 5 to 40 degrees, sand storms, and an average of 3000m above sea level, and you can understand why this is seen as the 2nd most difficult endurance challenge on earth.

Lubas Medical are absolutely delighted and very excited to be involved in supporting Emrys through this incredible challenge. He will be looking to raise money for 3 charities; the Fire Fighters Charity, Help for Heroes and Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales. I'm sure you would agree 3 extremely deserving causes.
