Supporting Newly Qualified Physios

How we’re helping newly qualified physios get ahead of the game.

At Lubas Medical, we’ve always taken great pride in trying to support the next generation of physios in sport.

One of the joys of what we do is meeting physios early in their career & watching them grow over the years - often bumping into them at elite sporting events.

We deliver private courses in universities across the UK, provide access to job opportunities & have given students pitchside placements in elite sport.

This year we’re continuing our ongoing work with the ACPSEM to provide graduate only courses that include free ACPSEM membership & a special rate for the course fee.

The courses offer the same level Lubas Sports Trauma Management qualification as our normal courses, but allows newly qualified grads to learn with other students in the same boat.

We’re happy to announce that this year we’re also able to extend the course to 3rd year physios who may be waiting for exam results. This gives you the chance to be fully qualified in pitchside trauma management ready for the season ahead.

Newly Qualified Physio? Here's what you get from us.

So if you’re a newly qualified physio or 3rd year student, make sure you book on to get:

You can also now pay course fees in 3 monthly installments using our online booking system.

It’s a great opportunity if you’re just starting your physio career & want to get ahead of the game for next season.

New Physio Grad? - You’re missing out on job opportunities!

How to get the most paid opportunities from 100’s of medical professionals in your sport.

Open hand with lightbulb hovering above palm

Joining a membership or community is one thing, but how do you guarantee you're getting the most from it?

High quality Physio grad job opportunities aren't always easy to come by.

In Medics for Sport, we want to make sure you're getting all you can from the extensive network at your fingertips.

So here are 5 ways you can make the most out of your community & guarantee you get the best opportunities.

1. Introduce Yourself

This sounds obvious but the best way to get noticed in the Medics for Sport group is with an introduction. Tell everyone who you are, what qualifications you have and any work you might be interested in. You'll be amazed how many people skip this this part!

2. Set Notifications

Another easy step that lots of people forget about. Set notifications for any posts on the group so you're the 1st to respond whenever there's an opportunity.

3. Make Yourself Known

Make sure you show up & post regularly. The more you get seen in the community, the more people will get to know you & trust you. This can give you the edge in a job post - if the member posting feels like they know you, you're one step ahead!

4. Sharing's Caring

Two hands gripped in an arm wrestle helping each other

No-one likes a taker! Jumped on a good webinar recently? Read an article you just couldn't put down? Share CPD & content you think will help the community.

It’s not just about getting/offering jobs.

Sharing helpful info with your community is a great way to build your network. Go in with the mindset to help others & you’ll naturally meet & collaborate with members.

5. Ask for Help

Communities are a perfect place to ask for a bit of help or advice. You’re in a place with other professionals of all levels of experience that will be more than happy to lend you an ear. You’ll be amazed how many people shy away from this but you never know who’s watching!

There’s nothing difficult or ground breaking here, but the people who get the most from communities do the simple stuff consistently.

BONUS STEP

Thanks for reading this far. Here’s a very important bonus step as a little reward!

You’re definitely going to want to do this one…

I can’t stress this enough but please follow the rules of the group. Answer the entry questions & make sure you understand the rules or you might fall at the first hurdle.

If you need any help getting in, please contact us & we’ll be more than happy to help!

We hope you enjoy Medics for Sport.
