FASE 2 enhances your sports first aid knowledge & skills to improve the care you give, when working alone or supporting a pitch-side medical team.

The new Lubas FASE2 course is now delivered as a blended learning programme through Lubas Online, our online training platform.
Interactive online learning, blended with practical medical skills & training, delivered directly by experienced, qualified professional instructors who work in sport.
FASE 2 provides six hours of supporting online course material, divided into 13 separate manageable theory sections, presented by Lubas Instructors. One full day is then completely dedicated to practicing the use of the equipment and applying skills learnt to life-like sporting scenarios.
Lubas online training allows you to complete the supporting pre-course material at your own pace at a time suitable to you. You can review specific content as many times as you need to feel fully confident & prepare for your day of practical learning.
During the covid-19 pandemic practical groups have been reduced and PPE level 2 is worn throughout the day to ensure a safe learning environment.
Your instructors are a team of qualified educators & medical professionals working at the highest level within sport. Clear & supportive training gives you a structured approach, enabling you to manage both primary & secondary injuries as a sport first responder.
First Aid for Sport and Exercise 2 is suitable for anyone who has completed First Aid for Sport and Exercise level 1 (FASE 1) and:
Providing pitch-side first aid can be overwhelming and it’s therefore essential that you are prepared to meet your responsibilities when providing treatment or when asked to support a medical team.
First Aid for Sport and Exercise 2 is designed to develop your core basic skills and knowledge learnt on FASE 1. It will enable you to provide more advanced treatment options when working without direct supervision at sporting events or to be part of a medical team supporting Doctors, Paramedics, Physios, Sports Therapists and other Health Professionals. More advanced first aid skills are vital for coaches, volunteers, stewards and everyone who forms part of a pitch-side support team.
Many sports organisations, colleges and schools are now making attendance on an advanced sport-specific first aid course compulsory for staff covering sports events. This course is suitable for all non-medical professionals working in the world of sports & exercise and is ideal for students on work placements.
FASE 2 is a highly practical and interactive course with attendee participation at the centre of the learning. As healthcare professionals working in sport, instructors draw on their extensive experience & knowledge in managing traumatic sporting injuries. Your questions and real-life examples are always encouraged in a relaxed but professional environment.
FASE 2 is the second step in the ‘Sports Trauma Pathway’. If you are looking to develop your basic first aid skills, this course is for you.
