Cricket Safe 2 develops basic skills learnt during our Cricket Safe 1 course and goes deeper into the skills and equipment need to support a qualified physio/medic.

Cricket Safe 2 is run over 2 days and includes familiarisation of equipment and techniques used by qualified medical staff to manage traumatic injuries. You will be taught the skills to effectively work under the supervision of medical staff to help remove a player from the field of play, immobilise spinal injuries, administer pain relief, splint fractures and operate an oxygen cylinder.

Clubs are increasingly requesting more advanced first aid skills and familiarisation with medical equipment from support staff and for students on work placements.

Our Cricket Safe courses are practical and interactive with a professional and enjoyable delivery, this is therefore the recommended course for anybody working alongside medical staff at a club or developing basic first aid skills further.
